Summary: Union Supply is looking for an individual that is interested in a position that utilizes curiosity and analytic ability to support our Sales department. This position relies heavily on the use of Excel, customer service skills, and creativity in a unique industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Professionally and charismatically field and handle customer inquiries that contact the Director of Inmate Sales and Program Managers Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a professional and timely manner Handle tracking of all program customer satisfactions, label requests, return and refund requests. Assist with analyzing competition and industry trends to ensure products and programs are new, innovated and competitive in the market to ensure sales increase in assigned territory, ensure findings are communicated to appropriate company staff Assist with development of marketing materials such as catalogs, order forms, posters and website Understand and support the assigned policies and procedures set by various Department of Corrections and correctional facilities Responsible for maintaining CRMs on a daily basis and keeping accurate updated account information for all accounts Contact customers and prospective customers to arrange appointments, follow up with order delivery statuses, and confirm travel arrangements Assist with any other special projects as needed Perform other related duties as assigned by the Department Director Competencies Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments Interpersonal Skills - Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
