Schedule: 7 days on - 7 days off. Sunday to Sunday.
Compensation: $38.50hr - $44hr

Position Description:
The Electrician provides technical support for a safe and efficient operation of the various types of equipment associated with a sand processing plant. This position will perform a wide variety of electrical and electrical maintenance and service work on mining equipment, machines and controls. This position will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and practice safe operations at all times.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, utilizing both hand tools and power tools. You'll diagnose malfunctioning components and systems, utilizing test equipment and hand tools to pinpoint issues and make necessary corrections. Connecting wires to various components, such as circuit breakers and transformers, is a crucial task. Inspecting electrical systems and components for hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs is also part of the role, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes. Additionally, you'll provide management with advice on potential equipment hazards and conduct tests to ensure the safety and compatibility of electrical systems and circuits.

Requirements
--- Preferred to have Electrical Journeyman license
--- Must be able to perform industrial automation diagnostics, monitoring and installation of electrical systems requiring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Drives, and Softstarts
--- Must have the ability to size circuits, bend conduit, and understand the basic fundamentals of single phase and three phase power distribution
--- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills required
--- Sufficient education to operate relevant computer software and complete written documentation and records; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics
--- Must have basic computer skills
--- Must be able to perform basic mathematical equations and use basic hand tools, measuring tools, labor tools
