Job Description:

We have a client located in Laredo TX looking to hire a bilingual Freight Forwarding Specialist. This is a contract position running through January 2024 with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Review daily entries at the border and provide instructions for import (Mexico - USA) and export (USA - Mexico).
  
  
• 
  Review comments from freight forwarder/customs broker regarding the received entries and assist with discrepancy resolution requesting assistance to Order Coordinator, Service Parts, Operations or Global Trade Compliance to provide revised documents or instructions.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate all shipping invoices
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field or 2 to 3 years of related logistics experience in lieu of a college degree.
    
    
  • 
    Working knowledge of worldwide Logistics practices and procedures.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Harmonized Tariff Codes Classifications.
    
    
  • 
    Must be bilingual English/Spanish
