Job Description Point Dedicated Services seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor for its Laredo terminal. This position will report directly to Terminal Manager Shift: Monday-Friday 1600-2359 will work every third weekend (off on Friday when working the weekend) Responsibilities specific to this position: 1. Gather all driver paperwork for local deliveries that need to be made by our city drivers. 2. Create the daily planner for the day including all pick ups and deliveries for Laredo. 3. Unload Southbound trailers and separate different shipments from trailers in order to reload them on other trailers to make the deliveries in Laredo 4. Do the yard check of all equipment that we have in Laredo for that day / Equipment damage report (includes tractors and trailers and Kiosk updates) 5. Create the freight report for the day that includes all Northbound shipments that are available on the dock or the trailers. 6. Dispatch and monitor local pick ups and deliveries (by phone, text and email) 7. Update all customer websites with required information (XPO, ECCO, Ryder, Penske, C.H. Robinson, Active Aero, Pro Trans) . 8. Update our internal software such as Loadmaster with all pertinent information regarding customer shipments 9. Report and monitor tractor/trailer equipment with our Penske shop 10. Create customs paperwork for border crossings by VIATPRO software 11. Perform trailer interchanges Qualifications: 1. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) 2. Must be forklift knowledgeable 3. Must be computer literate / Excel, Word, and able to use customer software 4. Must have good communication skills 5. Critical problem solving 6. Team player 7. Ability to train and instruct others 8. H.S. Diploma 9. D.O.T. knowledgeable 10. Strong detail to attention 11.
