The College of Education at Texas A&M International
University (TAMIU) seeks a full-time Visiting Instructor of
Elementary Math (a temporary, non-tenure track position) to begin
Fall 2021. This position is for on-campus instruction. Primary
duties will include teaching 15 semester credit hours per semester,
the equivalent of five courses.
+ Earned doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction or
related fields. Three years teaching experience in grades EC--12 or
+ 18 graduate credit hours in Curriculum and Instruction.
+ Hold or be eligible to hold current teaching
+ Expertise in and commitment to field-based experiences
+ Experience with and/or a commitment to working with
culturally-diverse and/or at-risk student populations.
+ Experience teaching in EC-6th grades.
