Billing Specialist – Brokerage Location: Mile 9 Area Pay Rate: $19/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am - 6pm with rotating weekends Our Client Our client, a leader in the logistics and customs brokerage industry, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. This position supports the Accounting & Compliance Department , working closely with the Billing and Customs Entry teams. The ideal candidate will have strong billing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Note: Brokerage experience is preferred , but strong billing experience is 100% required . Systems used: AS400 (Duplex) and CargoWise What’s the Job? Process and generate accurate billing invoices for import/export transactions Review and verify documentation related to customs brokerage entries (e.g., CBP Form 7501) Collaborate with the brokerage team to ensure accurate classification and entry data Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries promptly Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies Work daily with systems AS400 (Duplex) and CargoWise What’s Needed? 100% required: Strong billing experience (minimum 2 years), preferably in logistics or brokerage Preferred: Knowledge of brokerage processes and customs documentation (including CBP Form 7501) Experience using AS400 (Duplex) and CargoWise , or the ability to learn quickly Proficiency in billing/accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracy What’s in it for Me?
