Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a nationally recognized leader in home-based
care, is looking for compassionate and dedicated Licensed
Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our team for weekend shifts. This
role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to patients in
a home setting, striving to help them achieve their highest level
of wellness and independence. Our ideal candidate is patient,
attentive, and focused on providing tailored care to patients based
on individualized care plans. This position requires excellent
communication skills, as nurses collaborate closely with patients,
families, physicians, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the
best outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
by the health care provider. Monitor patient health status and
respond to varying care needs. Maintain accurate, detailed reports
and health care records. Educate patients and their families on
proper home health care strategies and procedures. Coordinate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate
patient care plans. Comply with all healthcare laws, guidelines,
and policies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records. Ability to
work independently in a home setting. Critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities. Compassion and patience in handling
severe health conditions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a plus.
