Touchstone Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team in Texas. This role is vital in our mission to deliver tailored and supportive care environments for our elder residents. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the administration of medications as prescribed by the healthcare provider, observing patients' responses, and maintaining thorough patient records. Your role will directly impact the quality of life and care provided to our residents, making it both a critical and rewarding position. Administer daily medication to residents as prescribed by the healthcare provider. Monitor and document patients' responses to medications and report any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Ensure strict compliance with facility policies regarding patient care and medication administration. Attend to the individual care needs of residents, promoting their comfort and well-being. Proficient in pharmacology and proper medication administration techniques. Strong observational skills to detect changes in patient conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents and their families. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. Familiarity with healthcare software systems. 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
