Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 38 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Eagle Pass, TX 78852 Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM), Monday to Friday Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,246.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,000.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Position Summary: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures and assisting surgeons during operations. This role includes sterilization of surgical instruments and assembling case carts for both scheduled and emergency procedures to ensure efficient and safe surgical care. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment prior to procedures. Assist the surgeon during surgical operations by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. Sterilize and maintain surgical tools and equipment according to hospital protocols. Assemble case carts for scheduled and emergency surgeries. Participate in on-call rotation 2-3 days per week and every other weekend. Communicate effectively with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
