Job Title: NICU Registered NurseWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Laredo Medical Center.About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. This will involve evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various tests
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Teach patients and families about self-care skills and disease management
• Document patient information and communicate with the healthcare teamRequirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners
  • Internship or 3 months experience as an RN
  • CPR, NRP and STABLE certification
