Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Dialysis Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM one week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM the next week) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Texas, or part of a compact state license, or has a valid temporary RN license for the State of Texas while waiting for receipt of the permanent license. Certifications: - Current ACLS Certification required - Current BLS Certification required Must-Have: - Demonstrated commitment and adherence to compliance programs and the Code of Conduct - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions - Ability to calculate figures and amounts - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions - Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient served Job Description: - Manage patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures - Perform the primary function of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients - Oversee and guide nursing employees under supervision - Interact with hospital staff and/or ancillary departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts, providing identification and assistance in resolutions - Work may include weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, on-call, or call-back status - Coordinate care planning with other disciplines - Possess an Associate Degree, Baccalaureate Degree, or Diploma from a School of Nursing or University - BSN preferred Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write).
