Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Pro-Fee
Coder-Interventional Radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains coding knowledge and billing regulations associated with
CPT and ICD-10 codes, and modifiers
Consults with Coding Managers on any edit discrepancies
Participates in continuing education activities to enhance
knowledge, skills, and maintain current credentials
Required Qualifications:
An active AAPC or AHIMA credentials CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H, or related
specialty credential
5+ years professional coding experience in a large academic medical
setting is required
Experience in coding professional Interventional Radiology services
is required
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and
ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets
Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office with ability to
enter data, sort and filter excel files
