Job Title: Infectious Disease Physician
Location: Laredo, Texas

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Infectious Disease Physician to join a practice in Laredo, Texas, that consists of one Infectious Disease Specialist and one Advanced Practice Provider. This is an inpatient and outpatient position, with no ER call coverage. We welcome both experienced physicians and new graduates to apply and Spanish language skills are a plus. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid and clear Texas Medical License in good standing. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat and prevent infectious diseases
- Coordinate with other physicians in order to provide specialized care
- Create and implement treatment plans for patients
- Monitor and assess patient progress
- Provide patient education
- Maintain current records and document patient care
- Adhere to all legal, ethical and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an approved Infectious Disease Fellowship program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
- Current and clear Texas Medical License in good standing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus
Experience and Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and treat infectious diseases
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant medical laws and regulations
- Strong clinical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in the use of medical software and databases
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
