Job Description:
SUMMARY Responsible for liaising and coordinating with internal
and external partners coordinating the flow of communication with
these partners. ** If not local to area 100% travel will be
required to site. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes
the following: Liaises and coordinates with internal and external
partners coordinating the flow of communication with these
partners. Prepares weekly updates for programmatic leads to provide
to division leadership. Collects information for VIP visits to and
compile data into documents to be used as briefing books, talking
points, and other informative formats, and coordinate messaging
within the division. Performs data mining, literature reviews,
topical research searches for projects. Analyzes policies, data,
and regulatory documents to inform regulatory/policy activities.
Tracks inquiries, comments and assists with addressing general
policy and issues management request. Assists in the development of
situational reports, updates, plans, briefings. Helps draft and
edit communication materials designed to inform the public about
changes in public health policies and regulations. Documents and
conducts passenger screening interviews/triaging, medical
documentation reviews, distribution of forms, communication
materials, health information updates, data entry, and transport
coordination activities. Reviews medical records of immigrants for
specific medical conditions requiring evaluation or treatment,
prepare and process those records according to protocols and
processes. Supports grants management through engagement with the
Office of Grants Solutions and recipient awardees, plans for site
visits with recipients and partners and provides communication
updates for cooperative agreements. Provides quality assurance by
monitoring programmatic efforts monitoring electronic notification
and surveillance systems, and the related programs and data .
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY No supervisory/management
authority. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and 4+ years'
relevant experience. Previous experience with CDC programs,
policies and procedures highly desired. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES Preferred knowledge of CDC programs objective and goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint). Excellent level of attention to detail. WORK
ENVIRONMENT Work is conducted in a climate-controlled office
environment. The environment may require prolonged sitting,
prolonged standing, and light lifting up to 20 lbs. About Cherokee
