We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join our efficient Hyundai auto service center team! Our successful Automotive Technician candidates understand vehicle electrical and computer systems and are able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. Responsibilities:
Work out of an air-conditioned facility!
Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs:
--- Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty
--- Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
--- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the Customer
--- Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles
--- Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
--- Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

Qualifications:

--- High school diploma or GED is required
--- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
--- Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
--- Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
--- Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
