This full-time traveling position offers an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support students across multiple schools in Laredo, TX. The role requires working with an itinerant caseload within the United Independent School District, providing psychological services to school-aged children. Bilingual candidates are preferred to enhance communication and support with a diverse student population. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs. - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student learning and well-being. - Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed. - Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations. Qualifications: - Masters degree in Psychology or a related field. - Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential required. - Experience working as a school psychologist in educational settings. - Bilingual skills strongly preferred to engage effectively with students and families. - Ability to work itinerantly across multiple school locations in Laredo. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Location: - Position based in Laredo, Texas with travel to various school sites.
