Job Description:

Immediate need for a litigation paralegal in Laredo, Texas. Qualified candidates must have a paralegal certificate and at least one year of litigation paralegal experience. Previous trial experience and automated litigation support experience is desired. This person must have basic legal knowledge, including knowledge of standard legal citation to cite check legal motions and memorandum, and must have sufficient experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw to perform basic legal research.

This person will be responsible for examining, preparing and processing a variety of technical legal documents; reviewing incoming material and determines the need for assembly and preparation of a variety of legal documents, e.g., complaints, motions, orders, answers, pleadings, and subpoenas; obtaining needed information from files, law enforcement agencies, or other sources, and submits completed legal documents to the appropriate attorney.
